Shri. Nixon Joseph

(Lead Trainer and Former President and  COO, SBI Foundation

Shri Nixon Joseph is the former President and Chief Operating Officer at SBI Foundation. He has been actively involved in a lot of developmental and community service banking activities. He worked closely with the SBI's Flagship programs and is the face behind the success of these CSR initiatives.  Shri Nixon Joseph joined SBI as a probationary officer in 1985. As a banker, he has extensive experience in various facets of Banking like Corporate Credit, Retail Operations and International Banking. His International assignments include Manager, SBI Bahrain and Chief Executive Officer, SBI Tokyo Branch.

He is a Certified Credit, Compliance and Information Systems Banker. He has received Dr APJ Abdul Kalam award for professional excellence and also is the former President of Toastmasters Club, Tokyo and a founding member of Tokyo International debating society. He is known for his love for distance running and has successfully completed 45 full marathons (42.195 KMs), the only public sector banker with such an achievement. As the coordinator of SBI Youth for India, a flagship program of SBI, he mentored hundreds of youths. Through his active involvement in spearheading operations, SBI Foundation has positively impacted millions of lives
